Masai Mara Park Fees increase on January 1, 2024.

The Narok County Government, which governs the Maasai Mara National Reserve, has announced a significant increase in Maasai Mara Park Fees and the addition of different Park Fee rates for different seasons of travel.

Effective January 1, 2024, and for travel through June 30, 2024 – Park Fees for non-residents will increase from USD 80 to USD 100 per person per day.

From 1 July  – and for travel through December 31, 2024, – Park fees for non-residents will increase to USD 200 per person per day.

Please be advised that these amended fees will apply to any bookings as of 1 January 2024.

While these increases are substantial, we anticipate the expected increase in revenue to the Park from these changes could significantly improve the safari experience for guests in the Mara in the form of increased ranger patrols, anti-poaching efforts, and better-maintained roads, among other initiatives.

Please note that these changes are effected by the Narok County Government, not Cyan Tours & Travel Limited; however, should you have any additional questions or queries, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
